Gift Aiding Donations in the UK
Every donation you make to Makomborero could be worth 25% more, at no extra cost to you, just by choosing to Gift Aid it.
Some, but not all, of the donation platforms we work with, allow you to Gift Aid your donations via them, so always tick that box if you can. However, if you want to ensure that all your eligible donations, including those directly to us, are included in our Gift Aid claims, please make a Gift Aid declaration by clicking the button below.
If you are a UK taxpayer and you pay sufficient tax*, you can qualify for Gift Aid. If you complete our online Gift Aid declaration form, this will allow us to claim the tax back on any donation you make. This will add Gift Aid to the last 4 years of your donations to Makomborero and to any donations you make in the future, until you let us know otherwise. For every £1 donated with Gift Aid, Makomborero gets an extra 25p from the government.
*You pay Income Tax and/or Capital Gains tax at a rate at least equal to the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all all your donations in that tax year, otherwise it is your responsibility to pay the difference.
