The 2026 Residential Scholars
Keane
Keane is a future Software Engineer.
Keane attended Matopo High School for O-Level and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. He is the second child in a family of five. He likes to play chess during his free time and he speaks French. He believes that a person can do anything they set their mind to. He has a lot of motivational stories to tell and can’t wait to share them with others.
Keane is attending Gateway High.
Betty
Betty is a future Architectural Engineer.
Betty studied O-Level at Mabvuku High School and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. She is the youngest of two siblings. She lives with her uncle and his family. Since Form One, Betty’s dream has been to become an Architectural Engineer as well as a Social Life Mentor. She enjoys socialising, playing games with friends, reading novels, and running.
Betty is attending Gateway High School.
Lerato
Lerato is a future Neurosurgeon .
Lerato is an only child and lives with her mother in Harare. She is fascinated by the brain and its complexities and would like to be a Neurosurgeon. She attended Hillbright Science College at O-Level and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. Lerato is a determined and disciplined young lady who wishes to one day help children with neurological conditions in her community. In her free time, Lerato enjoys reading African literature and playing marimba.
Lerato is attending Hellenic Academy.
Ingrid
Ingrid is a future Radiologist .
Ingrid attended Visitation Makumbi High School for O-Level and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. She is the only child in her family. She aspires to become a Medical Doctor and specialise in Radiology. Her main ambition is to assist people in any way possible and become an active contributing member of society. She is interested in art, literature, poetry, fictional and non-fictional writing, history and cooking. Her favourite subject is Biology because she feels it is the literature of life.

Tinotenda
Tinotenda is a future Engineer .
Tinotenda attended St Ignatius College at O-Level and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. He lives with his parents and three siblings. His hobbies are playing the piano, reading, casual gaming, playing chess and listening to music.
Tinotenda is attending Hellenic Academy.
Alma
Alma is a future Civil Engineer .
Alma is an ambitious young lady who did her O-Levels at Monte Cassino Girls High and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. She is part of a lively family with four siblings. She enjoys spending her free time listening to music and catching up on sleep.
Alma is attending St Georges school.
Tapiwanashe
Tapiwa is a future Civil Engineer .
Tapiwa did his O-Level at Zengeza 1 High School and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. Tapiwa has four siblings, he is the youngest and the only boy. He lives with both his parents in Chitungwiza. Tapiwa likes to offer a helping hand whenever he can, and he often spends his time assisting others with their schoolwork. He also likes playing chess. Tapiwa dreams of giving back to his community and improving his family’s living standards. He is a future Civil Engineer.

Blessing
Blessing is a future Cardiologist.
Blessing attended O-Level at Zengeza 1 High and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. He has two siblings. His hobbies are playing soccer, listening to music and reading. Blessing is attending St George’s College.
Tererai
Tererai is a future Neurosurgeon.
Tererai is an enthusiastic young lady who attended Bradley High School at O-Level and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. She has one sibling, a twin sister. She enjoys playing chess, listening to music and debate.

Derrick
Derrick is a future Deep Learning Engineer.
Derrick attended Kutama College for O-Level where he discovered his passion for AI neural networks and was awarded a Residential Scholarship. He grew up in a single-parent household with his mother. Derrick loves to read, is intrigued by psychology and enjoys coding. He also enjoys connecting with various people of all walks of life; he believes that every person he meets has a story to tell and most importantly, a lesson to teach him.
Derrick is attending St John’s College.
The 2024 Non-Residential Scholars
Vanessa
Vanessa is a future Medical Scientist.
Vanessa attended O-Level at Nyazura Adventist High School where she has returned for her A-Level and was awarded a Non-Residential Scholarship. She is the first of two children. She enjoys reading books and doing charity work. She wishes to make the world a better place by reducing poverty, reducing crime and reducing drug abuse.
Vanessa is attending Nyazura Adventist High school.
Arnesha
Arnesha is a future Neurosurgeon.
Arnesha attended Marondera High School at O-level and was awared a Non-Residential Scholarship and she is doing her A-Level at Monte Rosa College. She is the second born in a family of 3 children. She lives with her mother and siblings. She’s passionate about giving back to her community. During her free time, she enjoys reading.

Arnold
Arnold is a future Neurosurgeon.
Arnold studied O-Level at Seke 5 High and was awarded a Non-Residential Scholarship and is currently doing his A-Level at Zengeza 1 High. Arnold is the first born in a family of three children. He loves chess, music and enjoys solving maths problems. His dream is to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.
Arnold is attending Zengeza 1 High.
Zani
Zani is a future Cardiovascular Surgeon.
Zani attended Saint Marys High in Chitungwiza for his O-Levels and he is excited to return there for his A-Levels and was awarded a Non- Residential Scholarship. He has a younger sister and they both live with their mother. During his spare time, he enjoys a bit of creative writing like short stories, novels and poems which he sometimes writes with friends.
Zani is attending St Mary’s High school.
Lawrence
Lawrence is a future Civil Engineer.
Lawrence is an only child who lives with his grandparents in Dzivarasekwa. He attended St Pauls Musami at O-Level and was awarded a Non-Residential scholarship. He loves taking walks, watching movies and solving puzzles. Driven by the support of the people around him, he hopes to develop the country as well as help children with a disadvantaged background gain opportunities for a good future.
Lawrence is attending Watershed College.
Makatendeka
Makatendeka is a future Doctor.
Makatendeka is a passionate girl who attended Goromonzi High school for her O-Level and was awarded a Non-Residential Scholarship and goes to Watershed College. She has three older sisters. Her favourite hobbies include singing and dancing.
