If you are interested in making a direct donation to Makomborero Zimbabwe, please contact the team in Harare by emailing admin@makomborero.co.zw and they will be happy to discuss the possible options with you. We will receive cash (Nostro and ZIG) and donations in kind.
Facebook Giving – Collections for Birthdays, Special Occasions and more
If you have a birthday or special occasion coming up and would like to set up a collection for Makomborero, Facebook Giving is a great way of doing this quickly and easily. Facebook’s reach means that it is easy to spread the word about Makomborero to friends and family all over the world and it is a great way for loved ones to contribute towards a cause you really believe in.

Handy Tips for Collections
It can be hard to attract those initial donations so here are a couple of handy tips on how to get things started:
- Make sure your friends and family are aware of your Birthday campaign by using the share function and specifically sending them the link. This helps make them aware that it is a cause close to your heart.
- Research has shown that people are much more likely to donate to collections, such as yours if they see that there have been other donations already made. Do consider making a small donation yourself to start things off and remember you can make it anonymous, if you would prefer.
