The 2023 Internal Scholars

Nokutenda
Nokutenda is a future Aerospace Engineer.
Nokutenda is the first born in a family of three. He stays in Norton with his mom and siblings. His mom works as a nurse in a government hospital. He is passionate about space and air crafts and has a huge interest in the universe. He hopes to improve safety in space and air travel. As a sports enthusiast he loves hockey and cricket and is looking forward to the experience of structured sports during his time with Makomborero. He enjoys spending time with his family.

Blessing M
Blessing is a future Medical Doctor.
Blessing is the older of two children. His father works for a local security company and his mother is an informal trader in plastic kitchenware. They live in Marondera. He loves Biology and hopes to further understand the human body when he ventures into medicine. His bright smile represents the joy he hopes to bring in the future by developing new ideas in the medical field.
Blessing attended St George’s College.

Blessing S
Blessing is a future Pharmacist. Blessing is the second child in a family of three girls. They live with their mother who is a teacher and their father who is a self-employed technician. She is a kind and confident young lady who enjoys learning new things from different people. She hopes to someday give back to her community by helping young people utilize their skills. She is also a music lover.
Blessing attended Gateway High School.

Tafadzwa
Tafadzwa is a future Cardiac Surgeon.
Tafadzwa is the oldest of six children and lives with his parents who are both teachers in Mabvuku. He enjoys playing volleyball as a way of relaxing and often dedicates his time to helping out a neighbour with schoolwork. He values open communication with the people around him. He loves watching African movies.
Tafadzwa attended Gateway High School.

Kuzivakwashe
Kuzivakwashe is a future Actuarial Scientist.
Kuzivakwashe lives with both her parents and two younger siblings in Dzivarasekwa. Her mother is a nursery school teacher. Just like her mother, she is passionate about spending time and working with children. She loves cooking and doing ‘magic’ with her hands. Her love for Maths aligns with her strong desire to solve problems and she hopes to put this into practice in business or risk analysis.
Kuzivakwashe attended Hellenic Academy.

Kimberly
Kimberly is a future Software Engineer.
Kimberly is the youngest of three children. She resides in Lochinvar with her siblings and both of her parents. Her mother is a teacher and her father is a self-employed plumber. Her hobbies are reading novels and engaging in physics or computer science research. She loves to create a weekly schedule and her planning skills have enabled her to excel at quiz. She enjoys playing volleyball.
Kimberly attended St George’s College.

Takudzwa
Takudzwa is a future Electrical Engineer.
Coming from Mutare, Takudzwa is the last born in a family of two. He stays with his brother, his mother who is a mathematics teacher and his father who is a lecturer at a local teachers’ college. Takudzwa loves technology and hopes to start his own tech company. He finds inspiration from books and enjoys listening to music. He also enjoys interacting with people.
Takudzwa attended Hellenic Academy.

Emmanuel
Emanuel is a future Medical Doctor.
Emanuel is the oldest of 6 children. He stays with his grandmother in Chitungwiza. He hopes to support his siblings through school. His love for mathematics stems from how it enables his mind to wonder carefree. He is also a chess lover who enjoys competing.
Emmanuel attended Hellenic Academy.

Shellin
Shellin is a future Medical Doctor.
Shellin is the first of 5 children and lives in Marondera with her parents and siblings. Her parents are both currently unemployed. Her faith enables her to persevere and maintain optimism that the seemingly impossible can be achieved. She cherishes time spent with her family and friends. She is a girl of many talents who enjoys pursuing singing, dancing, acting and writing.

Abigail
Abigail is a future Aircraft Engineer.
Abigail is the older of two children. She lives with her younger sister and mother who is self-employed, in Warren Park. This confident young lady hopes to pursue aircraft engineering. She also hopes to venture into the business world and give back to her community by empowering other young people that have a strong desire to positively impact the world.
Abigail attended Warren Park High.

Fortune
Fortune is a Future Programmer.
Fortune is the second of three children and his family live in Glenview . His father is a police officer and his mother is unemployed. He is passionate about using computer programming to solve everyday problems and improve access to education in his community. Equipped with the tricks and skills from gymnastics, he is a flexible young man who views the world with an open mind and is a free thinker.
Fortune attended Glen View 2 High.

Tawanda
Tawanda is a future Electrical Engineer.
Tawanda is the second child in a family of four and his family resides in Chitungwiza. His father is a self-employed plumber and his mother is currently unemployed. He aspires to take the world by storm by designing machinery and software that will make people’s lives easier in the constantly evolving digital age. This artistic young man is also passionate about dancing and drawing.
Tawanda attended Zengeza 1 High.

Tashinga
Tashinga is a future Medical Doctor.
Coming from Mabvuku, Tashinga is the youngest of three children. Tashinga’s mother is a nurse. Fascinated by the anatomy and physiology of the human body and the science of medicine, he aspires to be a medical specialist in a number of fields and assist the sick in his community. This delightful young man is also into art and design.
