The 2022 Internal Scholars
Elsea
Elsea is a future Gynaecologist.
Elsea is the last born in a family of two and she lives in Gweru with her family. Her mother is a self-employed detergent maker and her father is currently unemployed. Elsea is a very optimistic and determined young lady who strives for greatness. Elsea finds pleasure in playing drums, this helps her to relax and reflect. She aspires to venture into the medical field and be a gynaecologist.
Elsea attended Gateway High.
Vitalis
Vitalis is a future Electrical Engineer.
Vitalis is a hardworking young man who lives in Glenview with his brother. He is the second born in a family of two. Vitalis’s dad is a retired laboratory instructor and his mother in unemployed. During his spare time he plays football and reads scientific journals.
Vitalis attended Gateway High School.
Lovemore
Lovemore is a future Electrical Engineer.
Lovemore is the second born in a family of five. He lives with his family in Stoneridge, his father self employed and his mother is unemployed. Lovemore aspires to make life better for his family and his community at large. He is a wonderful singer and is stepping out into new sporting fields.
Lovemore attended St George’s College.
Fadzai
Fadzai is a future Mining & Chemical Engineer.
Fadzai is the last born in a family of three. Her parents are self-employed, and they stay in Epworth. Fadzai is a passionate reader who loves to read old newspapers and novels. Fadzai aspires to pursue mining and chemical engineering at university and become an entrepreneur later in life.
Fadzai attended St George’s College.
Tinotenda
Tinotenda is a future Cybersecurity Analyst.
Tinotenda is the first born in a family of two and stays in Norton with his mother and brother. His mother is unemployed. Tinotenda likes playing the marimba instrument and chess, he also enjoys being around people especially his family. He aspires to make Zimbabwe secure digitally and help eradicate cyber theft.
Tinotenda attended St George’s College.
Kudzaishe
Kudzai is a future Aircraft Engineer.
Kudzaishe is an only and she child lives with her mother who is a civil servant. They stay in Hatcliffe. Kudzai is a confident and hardworking young lady. She aspires to become an aircraft engineer or an accountant. She loves playing around with numbers and is a fantastic hockey player.
Kudzaishe attended St George’s College.
Valentine
Valentine is a future Structural Engineer.
Besides his versatility, Valentine is quite driven and curious. He is the oldest of three siblings and with both his parents in Kuwadzana. His father is a driver, while his mother is unemployed. As an artist, Valentine often finds himself drawing as a way to stay grounded. He is also into robotics and basketball.
Valentine attended Hellenic Academy.
Rufaro
Rufaro is a future Electrical Engineer.
Rufaro is a highly motivated student who resides in Kuwadzana with his mother and siblings. He is the second born in a family of four. Research, solving puzzles, and maths are among the things he is particularly interested in. He has an incredible work ethic and is an inspiration to many due to his accomplishments in Mathematics.

Honoured
Honoured is a future Civil Engineer.
Honoured lives in Norton. His mother is a lecturer and his father is currently unemployed. He lives with both his parents and siblings. He is the second born in a family of four. He enjoys rugby, chemistry and working with kids. He is adaptable and eager to learn all he can at every opportunity given to him.
Honoured attended Hellenic Academy.
Makanaka
Makanaka is a future Chemical Engineer.
Makanaka is the middle child in a family of three. They live in Waterfalls and her mum is a shop keeper in their little tuckshop attached to their house. Makanaka is interested in netball, soccer and music and she usually devotes time to helping kids that struggle with chemistry. She aspires to someday become an accomplished business mogul running businesses locally and better still, internationally.

Panashe
Panashe is a future Heart Surgeon.
Panashe is the first born in a family of two. She stays in Greendale at a Maximum Prison Complex with her mother and brother. Having grown in a community where girls with big aspirations were criticized, she kept her dream of changing the world through heart surgery and philanthropy alive. Her biggest dream is to see other girls believing that they stand a chance and can succeed.
Panashe attended Howard High.
Fazila
Fazila is a future Surgeon.
Fazila is the last born child in her family and lives in Warren Park with her mother who works as a shop assistant. She has always been curious about how the human body functions and wishes to become a world recognised surgeon to get answers to her many childhood questions. Fazila is a great debater and drawing art brings her fulfilment.

Brandon
Brandon is a future Software Engineer.
Brandon is the first born in their family and lives in Highfield with his parents and two siblings. His mother is currently unemployed and his father is an experienced panel beater. Brandon has a great passion to educate his community in the hope of reducing child marriages and Gender Based Violence (GBV). He enjoys spending time with his friends and playing chess.
Brandon attended Highfield High 1.
Jordan
Jordan is a future Mechanical Engineer.
Jordan is the second born in a family of two. He currently lives with his grandfather in Norton. He is very determined and wishes to pursue mechanical engineering or science laboratory studies at university level. Jordan loves accounts but science fascinates him more and he is also passionate about music.
Jordan attended Vimbai High.
Faustina
Faustine is a future Medical Doctor.
Faustina stays in Chitungwiza with both her parents and siblings. Faustina is the sixth born in a family of seven. Her father is a self-employed carpenter while her mother is a subsistence farmer. With a lot of encouragement from her mother, Faustina has managed to defy the odds and perform well in her academics. Faustina enjoys singing and loves participating in the school choir.

Luckmore
Luckmore is a future Avionics Engineer.
Luckmore’s ‘goal-getter’ mindset and candid personality stands out. He lives with both his parents and siblings. His father is a self-employed car mechanic. He is the third born in a family of six. Physics, debate and Zimbabwean music are a glimpse into Luckmore’s interests.

Delight
Delight is a future Surgeon.
Delight is the first born in a family of two. She lives in Budiriro with her father. Delight enjoys music and netball among other things. Delight is curious about the human body and has dreams of becoming a surgeon.
Delight attended Dzivarasekwa 1 High.
Eunica
Eunica is a future Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
Eunica is the first born in a family of six. She lives in Budiriro with her siblings and parents. Her mother is self-employed while her father is a Creditors Controller. Eunica loves to play handball and has represented Zimbabwe. She enjoys baking and has dreams of saving people’s lives through being a highly specialized surgeon.
Eunica attended Nyatsime College.
Jonathan
Jonathan is a future Lawyer.
Jonathan is the middle child in a family of three. He lives in Chitungwiza with his father and siblings. His father is a self-trained Accounting Consultant. Jonathan has a deep love for arts and his family has supported his dreams. He enjoys playing chess, public speaking and debate.
Jonathan attended Seke 6 High.
Lenny
Lenny is a future Electrical Engineer.
Lenny is the last born in a family of two. He lives in Kuwadzana with his aunt. Lenny’s mother currently works in Murehwa as a primary school teacher. He is a conscious student who loves to work with his peers and teachers alike. He plays soccer and enjoys watching the English Premier League. He always wants to learn new things and he someday hopes to become an electrical engineer.

Fortune
Fortune is a future Economist.
Fortune is a confident young man who lives with his three siblings and parents. His father is a soldier and his mother works as a tailor. He is the first born in their family. Fortune has two things he loves doing – Mathematics and Chess. He also is a fan of cricket. His strong commercial academic background will set him up well as he aspires to be an economist.

Dallent
Dallent is a future Aerospace Engineer.
Dallent is the first born in a family of three. He lives in Budiriro with his parents. His mother is currently unemployed and his father is a self-employed carpenter. Dallent is an enthusiastic and passionate young man who really loves debate and public speaking.
Dallent attended Mufakose 2 High.
Anthony
Anthony is a future Businessman.
Anthony is a delightful only child in his family who lives with his uncle in Chitungwiza. He has recently discovered his passion to run a business and see successful businesses run in Zimbabwe. During his spare time Anthony teaches his cousin who is in O level.

Lynmary
Lynmary is a future Pilot.
Lynmary is the second born in a close family of four. She stays with her mother and siblings in Waterfalls. She has a special talent in karate which has taken her to international competitions where she excelled exceptionally well. Lynmary is also academically gifted and due to her love for heights wants to be a pilot, and possibly an astronaut at some later stage.
Lynmary attended St Marys Chitungwiza.
Leslie
Leslie is a future Ethical Hacker.
Leslie lives with his aunt. Leslie is a determined young man who wants to see his dreams come to life. He hopes to make strides in his community and the world as an ethical hacker.
Leslie attended Merit Student Centre.
Ruvarashe
Ruvarashe is a future Neurosurgeon.
Ruvarashe is the third child in a blended family of four. She is a goal oriented lady who believes she can make her dream of becoming a neurosurgeon come true. She would also love to help people in her community deal with their childhood trauma. She loves to play basketball, netball and hockey.
Ruvarashe attended Howard High.
Chipo
Chipo is a future Doctor.
Chipo is an ambitious girl who lives in Dema with her mother and brother.Her mother runs a tuckshop. Chipo is passionate about baking and she enjoys playing cricket. Alongside her mainstream career aspirations of becoming a doctor, she also hopes to establish a nationwide bakery. Her long-term goal is to be a beacon of inspiration to other like-minded girls of similar background.
