Help a child achieve their dreams by donating to Makomborero

Gifts that make a difference

Give a gift that will make a lasting difference to a child in Zimbabwe.

If you are looking for a gift with a difference, we have the answer!! Simply choose your gifts from the selection below, and we’ll send you a gift card which you can proudly present to the person you’ve bought it for.

These gifts will go a long way to transform a Scholarship Students’ education, and are all things that the pupils are in desperate need of.

100% of the proceeds from these gifts go towards our Scholarship Scheme. However, in some cases it might not be appropriate to provide the exact gift chosen. For example, if all our supporters have chosen exercise books, but the students need uniforms then we will provide uniforms instead. This common sense approach makes sure that your donation is used in the most effective way possible to enable our students to excel.

Whilst we will endeavour to process your order as quickly as we can, please allow 2-5 days for dispatch and at least 2 days for delivery, using Second Class Post.

Fresh Ink

Fresh Ink is an anthology of extraordinary poetry authored by the ink that oozes from the pends of the fresh, young Zimbabwean minds. This book has been published by one of our very own students, Joseph Mahiya! It is available now as an eBook.

We aim to email your eBook to you within 48 hours.

The 20 Project

The 20 Project is a collection of stories, wisdom and advice from life on the other side of 20! This book has 20 chapters written by 20 people (one of whom is one of our very own trustees, Nicola) who have made it through the transition into the working world. It also features a poem written by one of our students, Ryan. The proceeds of the sale of this book go to Makomborero.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
